So yesterday was Josiah's day. My mom went with me cause I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to handle it and Aaron had to work. We took him to Dr. Bardon in Everett who is a Urologist. That made me a little more comfortable knowing that my son's goods would be handled by a Doctor who specializes on that type of stuff. We took him in the room and the poor little guy had to be strapped down to a table so his legs couldn't move =( I gotta say that was heartbreaking but I did my best and held back the tears. He then got a little shot right above his pee pee to numb it up and I think that was even worse then seeing him be strapped down. But I still held back the tears =) Once he was numb the procedure started. It didn't take very long and he was a very good boy during it. I gotta say though, for any man, just be happy that circumsizion happens as a baby, cause I dont think a grown man could handle it LOL.
So now we are onto healing time. It's funny, I handled the actual procedure really well, but it kills me to change his diaper now because when I put medicine on it he screams bloody murder =( I hope it starts feeling better soon. Poor Aaron can't even bring himself to change his diaper right now while it's healing. He came in while I was changing it and immediately left the room lol. Few more days and all should be well. Then he'll be getting his first "real" bath =) We had been waiting for his belly button to fall off, then it did but it was time for this and his little stuff cant be submerged under water for at least 5 days to allow for the healing. Check back for more... here are some pictures =)
