So I'm here to update again. We just got back from a camping trip this past weekend which was pretty cool. A bunch of my family who had not been together in probably about 20 years was there. I think we were all nervous at first because there has been such a distance between our family, but in the end everything turned out pretty darn well for an estranged family reunion.

We were out at Lake Wenatchee and the lake out there is generally pretty cold so I didn't think we would be able to take JoJo in it but I was wrong. It had been so hot in the area that the lake warmed up and Josiah got his first lake experience. I'll post some pictures of our camping trip at the end of this blog.

Man there were soooo many people at this reunion. I got to see my cousins Ricky and Robby who I haven't gotten to see much over the years. It was super nice to have them there. Along with Ricky was his wife Kristen who is sweet as heck. I'm glad my cousin found such an awesome girl, they suite each other perfectly. Robby's wife couldn't make it but it would have been cool if she did.

My grandma made it out from Arizona which i was stoked about because she hadn't met Josiah yet. I only wish my grandpa could have made it too. Aaron and I will be going to Southern California so we are hoping to take a day trip over to grandma and grandpas since it's only about 4 hours from where we'll be.

Off to more news, JoJo has his first ear infection. As if that was bad, it's a double ear infection so our poor little man isn't feelin so hot. We got him some antibiotics so hopefully it will clear up pretty soon. The little man is handling it pretty well though, he is a little cranky but not too bad. I know from experience that ear infections are no fun. I used to get them all the time and ended up in the ER a couple times due to them. All I gotta say is that if Josiah has the same kinds of ear problems that I had, no doctor will make me wait until he's flippin 17 to put those damn tubes in his ears. Those were the best thing I swear. I've gotten minor ear aches here and there since but nothing like what i experienced prior to tubes. Now i can go over a mountain or in a plane withough crying because it hurts so bad. My son i hope will never have to go through that.
